The Oklahoman's Summer Reading Contest is being offered through the newspaper and at www.newsok.com/nie in conjunction with the Oklahoma Department of Libraries' statewide program. The contest began June 7 and ends the week of July 26; the deadline for contest entries is July 29.

If you are between five and twelve years old, you could win prizes! A winner will be drawn for each week for a book prize, and a winner will be drawn from all entries at the end for a grand prize -- an MP3 player and the honor of throwing the ceremonial first pitch at the August 3 RedHawks game! Parents or guardians of winners will be notified and asked to provide information for prize delivery; such information will not be requested unless a child has won.

Activities will be published in The Oklahoman's Life section every Sunday and at www.newsok.com/nie.

Complete an entry form by filling in the sections on the summer reading flyer, which you can download by clicking here; by clipping each week's entry form from The Oklahoman's Sunday Life section; or by typing the entry information into an email based on the weekly question posted on this page.
